8Trone: The Boundary-Pushing Musical Innovator
8Trone is a multi-genre, award-winning musical artist and sound designer originally from Tehran, Iran, now based in London, UK. His journey from a restrictive environment to the vibrant music scene of London is a testament to his resilience and creative spirit. Overcoming significant challenges in his homeland, 8Trone developed a genre-defying approach to music, blending breakbeats, grime, electro, techno, and trip-hop into a unique and unconventional sound.

Early Influences and Artistic Identity
Inspired by groundbreaking artists such as Alchemist, Massive Attack, Mike Dean, Ras G, and Pink Floyd, 8Trone crafts music defined by intricate rhythms, dark melodies, and meticulous craftsmanship. His innovative use of synthesisers, samplers, and acoustic instruments has earned him a reputation as a forward-thinking creator. "Verbal communication has its limitations; music became my weapon to express the unspoken,” he says, encapsulating his artistic philosophy.
​Education and Professional Milestones
After earning a master's degree in Electronic Music Composition from the London College of Music, 8Trone swiftly made strides in his career. Notably, he performed at Corsica Studios, one of London’s premier music venues, showcasing a cutting-edge fusion of electro, breakbeat, and jungle. His debut EP, Electroeight (2020), sold over 1,000 physical copies, solidifying his presence in the music scene.
Since moving to London, 8Trone has collaborated with industry leaders, including Shy FX, Gorillaz percussionist Remi Kabaka, and renowned music executive Steven Machat. These connections have further bolstered his artistic development and industry influence.

Award-Winning Sound Design
In March 2024, 8Trone collaborated with documentary producer Dio Donita on the short film DNA. His innovative sound design earned the title of Best Sound Designer at the Short Indie Festival in Los Angeles, as well as accolades at the Rome International Movie Awards. These achievements underscore his versatility and commitment to pushing the boundaries of auditory storytelling.
